Welcome

Welcome to Comfort In Fitness, This blog is related to Comfort In Sound which you can find by clicking on the link or at the top tab.

Comfort In Fitness sole aim is to give help and advice where possible on fitness and health. Anything that is mentioned in this blog is purely my thoughts and beliefs and not in anyway associated with my employers.

Fitness is only as hard as you make it, and can be easily reached by anyone. It just all depends how highly you truly rate it. If you want it you'll achieve it. There are so many qualified fitness professional and coaches in the UK now it has become quite a saturated market. But what it does mean is help is easily accessible. However the problem is to what level are they qualified. Ask one questions to any qualified coach and you'll probably get about 100 different answers. Not to mention the 100,000 different answers you'll probably get from those who aren't qualified.Theres no easy answers or easy route. Fad diets come and go, so called miracle 10 minute workouts are nothing but fads, but you do not need to spend 60 minutes in the gym if you are sensible about what you do.

I'm not saying what I say or do is right, I am always up for a good debate on the different methods and training techniques. It is important I feel to keep your mind open to new and varying different ideas and to keep reading up on these as the fitness industry is nothing but a continuous change. Things I was taught and learnt in my courses are probably out of date now.

To get fit doesn't have to mean slogging your guts out on a treadmill, it can be fun. It just takes you time to find out what you enjoy. There is something out there for everyone to do, it can be doing weights, using a TRX, doing classes, swimming, jogging, or even line dancing. What mostly matters is that you are doing something.
